What’s the difference between calico and cambric?
Calico is a plain lining cloth used beneath top fabric for a smooth finish. Cambric has a waxed finish to stop feathers from escaping cushion covers.
When should I use interliner?
Use Crib 5 interliner when the top fabric hasn’t been treated with fire retardant, to meet safety standards.
Is hessian only for traditional upholstery?
No, hessian is versatile — it’s used in spring canvassing, stuffing, stitching work, and even for decorative creative projects.
