Our 54″ Wide Stretch Platform Lining Cloth is a woven polyester upholstery fabric designed for flexibility, clean finishing, and professional durability.Unlike traditional cotton platform cloths, this version is thinner, lighter, and has a slight stretch, making it easier to fit neatly across curved platforms and cushion undersides without creasing.
It’s the upholsterer’s choice for lining sofa bases, cushion platforms, and chair bottoms, where a smooth, form-fitting finish matters. The stretch helps maintain tension and eliminates slack, giving a clean, wrinkle-free appearance.
Fully fire-retardant to BS5852 Schedule 4 Part 2 (Cigarette Test) and Schedule 5 Part 3 (Match Test), this cloth is suitable for both domestic and contract upholstery.
